The Alfred Dunk House in Binghamton was generously donated to the Tuscarora Chapter, NSDAR, by Mr. Howard Brinker as a memorial to his wife, Phyllis Van Leet Brinker, in 1995. The chapter held its first meeting in the house in the same year and it was, and remains a source of great joy and responsibility. Built circa 1853, it is on the National Registry of Historic Places and is the area’s only example of Carpenter Gothic Revival architecture.
